Watching Tony Romo throw a touchdown pass to Terrell Owens just got sweeter for Southern California residents. Dallas Cowboys FanZ Club , the “Tried, True & Bleeding Blue,” has teamed up with Dave & Busters at Ontario Mills to offer fans a game day filled with excitement during the 2008 Season.
DallasCowboyFanz.com is the premier club for Dallas Cowboy fans in Southern California. Offering members exclusive contests, prizes, and personalized trips to Texas to see the team play in person, DallasCowboyFanz.com provides a valuable service to Dallas Cowboy fans in Southern California, and more directly, the Inland Empire areas.
“The Dallas Cowboys are and always will be America’s team. I know a lot of Dallas Cowboy fans live here in Southern California, so it seemed to be a natural fit to create a fan club that offered everyone a weekly gathering place to watch and enjoy the games,” explains FanZ Club Founder and President Don Burr.
Dave & Buster’s at Ontario Mills Mall is host to the DallasCowboyFanz.com crowd every week. “It’s the most fun I’ve ever had watching a football game. It just doesn’t get any better! I love my Cowboys Family,” said Angela Jacot of Fontana, when asked how she enjoyed being a part of the FanZ club.
Asked to describe the atmosphere during the games, Burr said, “We pride ourselves on a very family-friendly environment. Everyone has a great time winning free prizes just for showing up an enjoying the game. Honestly, this is almost as much fun as being in Texas stadium to watch a game live! The real difference is that the seats and view are much better here, the bathrooms are clean and never crowded, and unlike the stadium, the food at Dave & Busters is fantastic!”
Adding to the excitement of watching the Cowboys play each week are a series of crowd pleasing favorites. Including Dave & Buster’s food and drink specials, weekly prizes given away by the FanZ club, and the camaraderie only found when surrounded by fellow Dallas Cowboy enthusiasts.
Since the club's formation in June 2007, it has grown to more than 2,500 members and now averages in excess of 200 avid Dallas Cowboys FanZ at the Ontario, California Dave & Buster’s location for each game. The Cowboys FanZ enjoy a private seating area with its own bar, private restrooms, and special food and drink offers only available to club members. FanZ especially enjoy the giant 8-foot by 8-foot HD Projection Screen Television that can be seen from anywhere in the club’s seating area.
The FanZ Club is also working with the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House for 2008. The club’s goal is to offer the house two to four hours of volunteer help each week, and to also raise money by holding a memorabilia auction between late October to early November to benefit the home. If you would like to volunteer your time or talents to the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House, or assist in planning the charity auction, please contact the club via e-mail at info@dallascowboysfanz.com.
In July the Dallas Cowboys held their 2008 Training Camp in Oxnard, after a scheduling conflict forced them out of the Alamo Dome in San Antonio, Texas. The camp held at the Oxnard Sports Complex soon found out that the Southern California Dallas Cowboys fanZ take their football serious. Surrounded by HBO cameras filming the show “Hard Knocks,” players like Tony Romo and Terrell Owens entered the field for practice to the sound of hundreds if not thousands of screaming fans yelling their names.
The DallasCowboysFanZ.com Hummer was there showing support for America’s Team. We found it amazing the number of Cowboys fans who stopped to have their picture taken next to the vehicle wrapped with Tony Romo and Roy Williams’ likenesses in life-size action poses, Burr said. Even the Cowboys star players like Roy Williams, Zack Thomas and Adam “Pacman” Jones stopped by to see the club’s graphics in detail and take a closer look.
The DallasCowboysFanZ.com FanZ Club is free to join. Membership is as simple as filing out a short informational form on their Web site and click the submit button. If you are a Dallas Cowboys football fan, then you owe it to yourself to check out their site, and join the fun.
