Sgt. John Nuss of the Rancho Cucamonga Police Dept. was given special recognition during a luncheon held on April 8 by the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce.

Sergeant John Nuss has been with the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department for almost 29 years.  With numerous assignments over the years he has a wide experience base, but has truly enjoyed his assignment to Rancho Cucamonga since 2005 the most.  He is a member of the Active Shooter Committee and a Sheriff’s Academy instructor.  He enjoys living and raising his family in the City of Rancho Cucamonga and is deeply involved in area youth sports leagues.  His love of sports also inspires him as a Sheriff’s Athletic Federation Board Member.
